The Harvey Milk Festival Equality Gallery “Love without Limits”

The Harvey Milk Festival Equality Gallery “Love without Limits”

Every once in a while you walk into an exhibit and you can just feel the energy and creativity exuding from the room. This is exactly what happened at the Harvey Milk Equality Gallery Titled “Love without Limits”

Harvey Bernard Milk (May 22, 1930 – November 27, 1978) was an American politician who became the first openly gay person to be elected to public office in California when he won a seat on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

“Love without limits” featuring international and local artists was held in downtown Sarasota at Circus City Architectural Salvage
From the moment you walked in you were greeted by curator Steve McAllister. Upon entering, the atmosphere was inviting and welcoming (That is how exhibits should be). You were promptly offered a customary beverage and a program. The most amazing live music was playing by very talented “Kristopher James” as well as live painting by Jordé the Artist. With all the amazing talent in one room, it set the tone for one fabulous evening!
