Fine dining with a side of fine art and music….OK Now Do I Have Your Attention?

Fine dining with a side of fine art and music….OK, do I have your attention now?

This past Saturday night I had the pleasure of going to Arts and Eats restaurant for the first time.
What a pleasant surprise! From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by the owner
and the magic started off to what would be a wonderful evening.
Arts & Eats Restaurant and Gallery is in the center of the Village of the Arts at
1114 12th Street West, Bradenton Florida. This is not just a fine arts and dining restaurant,
it is an experience you will not find anywhere else in town. It reminds me of the amazing places
in Manhattan, NY or the Hamptons on Long Island.
Your senses are overloaded in a beautiful way from culinary excellence to fine art. On this particular evening,
we were lucky enough to be there during a special live performance by Dillon, a pianist, and Nick Gambardella,
a violinist. These musicians were quite talented and inspirational to hear while enjoying the most  amazing food.
You can taste the freshness and the food is cooked to perfection. Chef Jim Copening’s food is inspired by the ethnic
flavors he experienced on the streets of New York City, and it shows. I felt like I was back in NYC where I grew up.
What a pleasure!
Donna Slawsky and Jim Copening call their style “affordable elegance.”   The restaurant is casual yet elegant,
with original art on the walls as well as Donna’s own mosaics and jewelry. It’s not just dinner, it’s an experience!

Bradenton is maturing into something quite beautiful

Bradenton is maturing into something quite beautiful

I am so impressed with the way this amazing town is growing. There are so many things to offer these days. There are  great new businesses like Latte Luna, Arts and Eats and the Treasure Chest as well as great older ones like The Chop Shop and The Shake pit.
So many things to do thanks to great community enrichment projects like the amazing Riverwalk thanks to Realize Bradenton.

Village of the Arts is always so interesting and fun every time I go. Our beaches are just amazing and so clean. G.T. Bray is a great place for an outing like a picnic or just to get some exercise. Downtown Bradenton is looking  stunning as well. During the winter season, you can go to Realize Bradenton’s Farmers market and mainly art walk.  With a unique mix of arts, culture, heritage, and sports Bradenton offers something for everyone. Free films a cultural history museum, performing arts center, planetarium, historic Main Street, Riverwalk Park, marina, baseball, and a Beautiful and a lively Village of the Arts.  You can enjoy a variety of events and attractions in our community, every day.

When I go through Bradenton these days,
I see new construction and clean beautiful new landscapes.
Bradenton has become a Destination.
What do you love about Bradenton these days?
I would love to hear from you.

A Beautiful New Gallery /boutique in Bradenton "The Treasure Chest"

by Brandon Scott
This past week I had the pleasure of going to "The Treasure Chest boutique" on Cortez Road in Bradenton Florida . This is a very exciting new gallery that features about 13 local artist and let me tell you I was very impressed .
Doniele Disney-Humphrey is the driving force behind The Treasure Chest boutique . She has assembled a diverse group of artists including Fine art ,Photography ,Hand Painted Furniture, Crafts and Jewelry.  There is always something new every week, all original works of art and  one of a kind gifts.

However, one thing that you can find here that you usually cannot find anywhere is the energy of Bradenton you can just feel it in the air so stop by and see doniele and I promise you wont be dissapointed
